At Residential Child Care Community (Town Hall) Limited we promote a loving, happy, healthy environment in which our children, safe from harm, will be able to develop, thrive and fulfil their potential individually and as a group. Children’s welfare, safety and needs will be at the centre of the care provided. Our ethos is to provide impeccable, bespoke, and holistic care packages to children whose assessed care needs we feel can be managed.
Children have their own views, wishes and feelings, and our homes promote each child’s right to have a say. Children will be encouraged to establish relationships, communicate their views, and take part in activities designed to promote personal growth.

Our Homes
We operate seven children’s homes throughout the North West of England, all managed by an excellent team of skilled professionals.
Briercliffe House provides care and accommodation for up to four children with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Located in Briercliffe, Lancashire, it offers a safe, nurturing, and family-like environment aimed at fostering children’s personal growth and independence.
Experienced Staff
We value the time, skills and expert opinions of our teams. We provide fair and living wages with structured work schedules and clear duties. We are also committed to providing spheres of rights and responsibilities for each team member.
We aim to provide jobs which not only provide sustenance for our workers’ families, but also allow them a space to make a difference in the world around them, through caring and expert assistance to our community’s most vulnerable members.
Our teams are trained in safeguarding, which is refreshed yearly. We believe that the safeguarding of our children is a holistic process that involves us providing good quality care all round; this begins with the safety of the home environment.

The support and communication from the home have been excellent and I feel the work done by Kurtis and the staff team in preparing both young people for their GCSE and incentivising revision has really given them a purpose.
Staff have taken a consistent and direct approach with the child, continuously reminding her of the home’s rules and boundaries. The child has expressed that she does feel more settled. The child is given continuous praise for her positive behaviours and incentive schemes have also been implemented which appear to be positive.
The home is managed by a dedicated registered manager who is child centred and leads by example. Staff are overwhelmingly positive about their experiences of working in the home and they feel supported by the registered manager and leadership team.
