23 Apr St George’s Day Celebration

We celebrated St George’s Day at The Hawthorns by making afternoon tea with sandwiches, pies, scones, and cakes. The children helped prepare the food and set the table, and we all sat down together to enjoy it.

We also decorated the home with red and white bunting and posters about St George. The children helped put everything up and talked about the story of St George.
